(Presuming you’ve seen it, tho I have a feeling you haven’t) just because they are good looking doesn’t mean they don’t have personalities and love island has had far bigger characters than anyone on regular BB in recent years and it is far funnier and less tacky/pretentious which BB and CBB were always one of the two post 2014 in c5 days

Love Island was pulled off our dutch tv because it is too much filth and not fitting with the ''family show'' mindset of our new RTL production team

so it was ditched onto streaming service where just maybe 10 people watch it


we do have Temptation Island ourselves, with a side show ''aftertalk'' which does do well in terms of viewer ratings, in terms of making juicy tabloid gossip articles

the hypocrisy shade there when it's basically a similar show to LI

I will watch the first episode of South Africa Love Island. But I don't get why it is only certain types of people who go in looking for love. If someone is not as attractive and goes in does that mean less will be watching? Just don't get how shallow our society is. Like for example they wouldn't let someone looking like Cameron and someone looking like Zoe from the last big brother going onto Love Island because they are not the generic attractive types. It's just wrong. Should be a range of people going in and the only criteria being your obviously single. So doesn't matter if your a size 22 and have no Instagram followers. If your single and looking for love and wanting to go into love Island you should have the same chance as a generic attractive person with 1 million followers on Instagram. Etc..

Tbf viewers doesn't equal quality.

For me personally I'd take a thousand BB's before one Love Island season of people pretending to fall in love with each other.
