What’s wrong with a remainer, maybe if Jeremy had actually come out as remain he might have garnered more support, his wishy washy stance sunk him
Anyhoo it’s just media tattle at the moment, where do most people get their news from. ..err the media

Is a rich straight white male or cis male really what Labour supports want? I checked the betting odds, he's the pretty clear favourite.

The only privilege that still exists is wealth privilege, and admittedly he has that in spades. I don't know enough about the other prospective candidates to comment on their wealth, but they all seem well off?

Is it? I thought there were some wonderful MPs on the Labour front benches, are they not sanctioning enough austerity measures for you..what makes a good leader?

Being rich and a Sir is not something that would necessarily count against him with the public. Most people don't care about that.
The only way being wealthy might harm his political chances is if he was seen to be against aspiration and denying opportunities he took advantage of. The main problem he has got though is winning back trust among Leave voters, when he was one of the main drivers of changing Labour's policy to another referendum. |

i think labour will go in to a transition period if/when Corbyn steps down. I don't therefore think the next leader is important, it will be the one after that needs to be the right person for the job,

Anyone who's vocally been Leave or Remain will have trouble winning over the other half. Whoever wants a chance of winning the leadership should focus on actual aims and policies instead of Brexit.

I can’t see that it makes any difference, by the time the next election comes round people may be clamouring to rejoin This was the Brexit election, the next one won’t be
