I don't watch the show, but I have heard about the cast exits so it's probably for the best that it ends now before it becomes another CSI or TWD situation where most of the major players from season 1 are gone and it doesn't feel like the same show anymore.

Surprisingly, the UK one has more episodes.

Which isn't so great as it was sh*te after around series 5.
