You know I respect you Parm but as somebody who had family in Afghanistan (uncle and cousin) they did not join up to die and after hearing them speak about their time in the war there was nothing peaceful about young men and women dying in a war zone.

I also have a friend who was in the Scots guard he had his elbow shot out...saw his friends die..

Many family members all through my 50 years have been in the army and navy..Im regularly in my local British legion when I go up the road.

It's not about wanting to die amy...for each and every one of them from the beginning of my life to now it was about stopping other people dying, and knowing the consequences of that...
