BOOM
That would work if 100 percent of population bought and read their toxic products.

I have news for you, they don't

The papers and the media "are us"?

If you mean that the papers are purely profit-driven and are simply providing what sells/generates clicks then sure. In that sense, the media is driven by the general public rather than vice versa. Its still **** that they do it.

However you're not explaining how the baying mobs (the majority) who lap up the headlines and spaff them back out across social media represent "all".

It's not new information that the MAJORITY are thick chavs easily lead by the nose. That's been evident ... Forever, as far as I can tell. But don't conflate "majority" with "universal". It's an all too common mistake these days. "The Bwitish People want/don't want X, Y, Z!" because <60% of them say so. It's nonsense.

Again conflating "many" or "majority" with "all".

There is no universal "we" here. They don't need everyone to have a market. They just need to maximise clicks to maximise profits. Mass appeal. For thick chavs.

What strategy? Because I believe exactly that to be true, it also means that I don't think there's a battle to be won. It is what it is... The world operates on the lowest common denominator, all you can do is try to play that system as best you can .

I just keep thinking about how alone and isolated she must have felt.
It makes my stomach hurt just thinking about her thought process behind this.
The worst thing is that she really was loved, and now will never know how much.

Did she have many , down to earth, ‘normal’ friends ... meaning non-celeb friends?

I just wonder if it was one of her ‘celeb’ friends that proves to be the one who said she was ‘draining’ when she sent them ‘that’ cry for help and maybe tipped the scales ?

They all seem to be coming out of the woodwork now ... my cynical side thinks that some of them may just be jumping on the bandwagon to get themselves back in the public eye , so to speak

Gemma Collins , Kerry Katona , Katie Price etc

...her life/her job was ‘celebrity’ so many of her friendships would have been celebrity as well...and those are the ones that the media tend to focus on because celebrities would be more inclined to ‘voice publicly’, I guess....they also include people who have also felt ‘media ravishment’ at low points in their own lives, or just general media judgement of them...so they’re adding their own thoughts to something that’s being highlighted atm as a huge contributor to poor mental health issues...

...I think with the ‘draining’ thing...?...that’s something that Caroline said when she was in thought crises and not clear thinking, I presume...and we don’t know of any possible context to it either...

I have to say I’m both embarrassed for and ashamed of the people that have used this thread just to start a petty argument or troll. Another celebrity has taken their own life at the hands of the British press and media, the least you could do is just show a bit of respect.

Surely that is highlighting the fact that as he was over the age of consent, that the allegation of anything untoward was unjust?

I may need to read the thread to get context but from that snippet you posted that's what I get from that.
