He didn't have a problem with the movie not being American. He had a problem with the movie being Korean. That is very different.

Yes, I can. Korean is a foreign language. If the film was British, it wouldn't be American, but it would still be English... the language he speaks.

Baffling that such a thing needs to be pointed out to you. He clearly states in his comment the problem is the film being Korean.
