EoE and the fire tokens take too much screen time. They didn't even need all those twists to make the season interesting. They are all seasoned players so it's pointless.

I wrote much the same elsewhere. The 'extinction' lot aren't really getting much time recently anyway, and the tokens also seem irrelevant most of the time. It's like the producers didn't learn from Redemption Island where I remember they also put quite a few twists.

I'm also a tad confused as to why Natalie had to walk up and down the Edge cliff 23 times carrying heavy logs to earn 1 fire token but Boston Rob can run up once and collect three tokens. Phwoar FISHY!

k that episode was flat and lifeless and easily the worst of the season. But it’s nothing new for Survivor these days — a decent to good premerge that starts to fall apart with a huge merge where the vote just turns into people listing names in confessionals like they’re moving chess pieces.

WHAT an episode

Really enjoyed that one. Tyson getting back in was fine with me... I'd have preferred none of them tbh but he was better than Rob or Parvati so it doesn't really matter. He slayed the challenge too.

Denise is a really good all-round player, BUT if she turns on Adam/doesn't stick to her alliance with him I'm over her.

King Adam surviving AGAIN He looked really stressed out/scared though
Lol @ Wendell going. About time. And when did he and Michele suddenly become close again?

I hope that godawful bros alliance is scrapped by next week as well (UNLESS they want to stop coming for Adam and go after Michele or something).

Anyway, Tyson coming back is the worst that could have happened. I also hate that EoE still exists. To me they should all have gone home except for the returning player.

Other than that, Wendell was a threat on all aspects of the game. Him being too cocky was his ultimate downfall. Too bad Michele didn't know because I would have loved to see her writing his name down.

I see a Denise, Sarah and Kim top 3, and I don't know why. The editing I suppose.

There's not a chance Jeremy or Kim or Ben win if we're talking about ~edgic~. The clear top four going into the merge episode were Michele, Sarah, Sophie, and Tony, and I think it's pretty easy to say that Tony and Sophie separated themselves from the rest with their merge episode content.

Although if you ask the obsessed Michele stans, this was the perfect episode for her to get shielded from the negativity of being out of the loop on the Wendell vote, but at the same time she got *just* enough content bc Jeff asked her if she was okay when she fell in the IC and the camera panned to her when Sophie said it's okay to not be a part of every converastion.
