Fern and Phil are Mr & Mrs II

FERN BRITTON and Phillip Schofield are to front revamped classic game show Mr & Mrs, TV Biz can reveal.
The This Morning double-act will take over the presenting task famously done by Derek Batey in the Seventies show.
However, the new version will feature celebs being grilled about their marriage instead of members of the public.
Corrie star Vicky Entwistle and hubby Andy Chapman are set to appear in the first show.
Fellow guests will be Vic Reeves and his missus Nancy Sorrell.
Little Britain star Anthony Head has also signed up with partner Sarah Fisher.
In the show couples were split up and quizzed on their life together, then challenged to match their partner’s answers in a bid to win prizes.
They all went home with a naff carriage clock.
ITV have been desperate to bring back the format, even though a series with Julian Clary at the helm was shelved after just two episodes in 1999.
Vernon Kay hosted a one-off episode last year as part of the Gameshow Marathon.
Now Phil, 45, and Fern, 50, are aiming to give the show a more lasting comeback, with filming set to start in March.
An ITV source said: “We think Phil and Fern have great chemistry together.
“We’ve ordered a whole series and we’re really excited.”
