This guy is deluded.

Says he tried hard to 're-invent' it every year. No one wanted it to be bloody reinvented they just wanted it to go back to the original format which made the show what it was. Says the 're-invention' worked with BB14 cos of Secrets and Lies, but it was actually due to the return of a female (and competent, sorry Brian) host, and more live feed. I.E. more reminiscent of the Channel 4 days.

Complains the ratings went down every year. That's only because Ben Frow and Channel 5 intervened every bloody year with stupid 'themes' that no one wanted and ridiculous weekly twists.

Complains it was on too many weeks of the year. Emmm Ben babes that's only because Channel 5 changed the contract and paid more money in order to air CBB twice a year, which almost everyone including regular BB viewers said was overkill and way too much every single year. But they never listened.

Says he didn't like it because it's orginally a Channel 4 show. But yet he revived Blind Date (ITV) and various flop former BBC gameshows.

Twat.

Not sure why he gets a hard time. It was sh*t and got sh*t ratings, it's his job to not waste money on it.

I think he gets a hard time because he lists things that he did to improve ratings when in fact they were the things that dug the show even deeper into the ground. He never understood that a more natural and simplistic series would work wonders in the ratings and make the show worth it’s money.

This is what diehard fans think when at the end of the day the concept just got stale

That wouldn't have changed the ratings. Hence why they started tampering with the format to begin with.

It got stale. It was never going to last forever.

I'm glad it got axed because it did need a break but they have to take some responsibility for bad ratings

He's right about it being **** but I love how he says there not alienating or looking down on their viewers as that's exactly the way to describe c5 bb

Idk if c5 is to blame or the actual show for its downright **** storm in literally every c5 series they ever did.

Like that YOTW **** in recent years or how they didn't remove someone for literally saying the n word in the house but not removing someone who said the p word when she was 15, 4 years before or somebody doing a mere hitler impression.

Is that c5 or endemol's incompetency?

He's right about the show not being viable anymore. If we're being honest the show had declined in mainstream popularity before it even left C4. The celeb series is probably the only version of the format that could return.
