Civilian or celebrity, why is your favourite your favourite?

Instead of the usual listing your favourites, let's have some discussion here

BB6 is mine. The main reasons being I'm a very housemate orientated person and if I don't like housemates, no amount of drama will save a series, and in BB6 I loved a lot of the cast - Makosi, Kemal, Derek, Kinga, Science, Saskia, Maxwell, Sam, Orlaith, Vanessa - and I appreciate Craig. On top of that, the people I liked most were the biggest characters in the series and so I was constantly being given entertainment by people I like watching.

As well as that, the stories in the series were great, the downfall of Saskia and Maxwell was glorious, Makosi's pregnancy was hilarious and Kemal and Makosi's friendship was so interesting. I also felt the series had very good tasks and the funniest moments

BB6 because it had crazy drama, funny moments and the best set of housemates ever. It also never really ran out of steam like BB7, which started off incredibly strong and got weaker towards the end.

I can never decide whether it’s BB5 or BB6.

Maybe BB6 because it’s non-stop drama and because whether I liked them or not, everybody contributed in some way.

But also BB5 is a possibility because it also brings a lot of drama and storylines and quality housemates, but it never feels like it’s too much, whereas I can see why people would feel like that about BB6. Also Nadia winning was a perfect end to the series

Big Brother 6

Here are the reasons I love this masterpiece of a series.

1. Cast

With every series the cast is essential to making a good series and great dynamics and BB6 succeeds big time in this department.

Whether you like or dislike the housemates from this series its difficult to deny that there wasnt a single person that didnt deliver in some form of capacity and even hated housemates like Maxwell and the more controversial ones such as Craig, I have to give credit for being great housemates. Despite being the less entertaining participants even the likes of Orlaith, Vanessa and Eugene brought something to the table, Vanessa being Makosi's side kick, Orlaith wanting to leave 24/7 and Eugene being an arguably quirky side-character??

Then there's my favourites. BB6 features some of my favourite Big Brother contestants of all time i.e Derek, Makosi, Kemal and Science! I also really loved the likes of Kinga, Roberto and Mary.

2. Duration

There is very few series that i've watched that have actually been very watchable and fresh till the very end and BB6 has that perk that others dont.
Even the final week were most of my favourites had gone it was still proving to be a fun brilliant series.

3. Story-lines

I love the story-lines and dynamics in this series! And whats fantastic is that they are all really interesting and compelling to watch. To start with this series has to be the most aggressive argumentative series, but this cast was so bizarre and fun that it never really made the series dark and depressing the same way as BB13. The English vs Ethnics divide was amazing, a story-line that was just so amazing that it started and ended at perfect times; There's also the Craig and Anthony story-line in the last weeks of the show. Now I'm not gonna pretend to be a Craig stan but even i was hooked on his psychological manipulation over Anthony was just another brilliant compelling story line.

But yeah even this write-up is just reminding me of amazing 6 was and that it truly was the G.O.A.T

BB5 - didn't dislike anyone on the cast, perfect winner with the perfect arc, a clique war and drama was spaced out enough to let you breathe.

Why? Only one I've fully seen + Raph
