Jake why don't you send a song for her this week? Or get a former player to play as her just now?

Ladies and Gentlemen welcome to Blackpool tower ballroom and our quarter final. This week our couples took on two themes, songs of the summer and guilty pleasures. It is time to hit the dancefloor!
Performance One: Songs of the summer 1. Cha Cha to Lush Life by Zara Larrson by Livia and Graziano Tony: What an amazing opener! I love it! Cherie: Perfect Choice! Amy: I enjoyed this, you did something really fun to open the show, nice. I do think there are versions of this song that would have fit amazingly though and elevated you to a 10 Barry: The song was ok. But I do see this as a summer song so kudos Tony:10! Cherie:10! Amy:8 Barry:7 2. Viennese Waltz to A little help from my friends by Joe Cocker by Parmnion and Karen Tony: It was good, but it could've been better Cherie: I didn't think I would like this but I did! Amy: This for me wasn't the best, I understood where you were going but I felt a little let down because I wanted a bit more romance and this was more friendship. Not your best. Barry: Loved the dance to the song. It fit well. Great job. Tony:7 Cherie:9 Amy:6 Barry:9 3. Street Commercial to Dua Lipa One Kiss by Cal and AJ Tony: And one performance was all it takes for me to be blown away! Cherie: Yes good job, maybe a bit safe though Amy: Yes! this was everything I wanted and more. Amazing choice, could see this being the highest score this week easily, very well picked out. Barry: To me, street dance can be a lot of songs. I'd prefer new rules but it was still good. Tony:10! Cherie:8 Amy:10! Barry:8 4. Jive to In the summertime by Mungo Jerry by Kazanne and Giovanni Tony: I enjoyed that far more than I thought I would Cherie: Again not a favourite tune for me but suited the dance so well Amy: Won't lie when I first saw this I had low expectations, however...this was fantastic! I could see this set up like a couple in the 70's at the beach having a great time and I love me a visual. Great work! Barry: Is this a remix? I thought it was well done to the Dance Tony:8 Cherie:9 Amy:9 Barry:9 5. Charleston to Mr Saxobeat by Alexandra Stan by Liam and Amy Tony: That was fantastic from start to finish! Cherie: Inspired...Well done! Amy: Oh my god, this was just amazing! Such a brilliant choice, never saw it coming at all. So impressed. Well deserved 10! Barry: Ugh I thought this was amazing. For a Charleston it was fine. Tony:10! Cherie:10! Amy:10! Barry:9 6. Tango to Hot Summer by Monrose by Nicky and Nadiya Tony: It was certainly hot enough for me Cherie: Tango Tango Foxtrot!!! Amy: Ermmm...not here to rubbish anyones choices but this was pretty bad, never got anything tango related from this at all and after the last three blowing my mind this was a mess. Sorry. Barry: Didn't like the song much but I thought it did go well with a tango Tony:9 Cherie:10! Amy:3 Barry:7 Performance Two: Guilty Pleasures 1. American Smooth to je ne sais pas pourquoi by Kylie by Livia and Graziano Tony: Love Kylie but wasn't a fan of that Cherie: J'Taime Amy: I. Love. This. This was just kitch in the best way and I enjoyed it tremendously, I love how outside of the obvious you've gone. Gorgeous work. Barry: This does seem like a GP so I loved it Tony:6 Cherie:9 Amy:10! Barry:9 2. Quickstep to Then I met you by The Proclaimers by Parmnion and Karen Tony: A meh performance if i'm being honest Cherie: Another group not particularly a fan of but suited the dance perfectly Amy: Wow! The standard is high this round, this was another wonderful choice that I would have never thought of, I can't help but hand out high scores with these choices. Barry: I thought this was going to be too slow for a quickstep but once it kicked into the song it was great. Tony:5 Cherie:9 Amy:9 Barry:9 3. Samba to Sweet Dreams by Eurythmics by Cal and AJ Tony: Magnifecent! Cherie: Annie has been used many times, including by my good self so a bit safe for me Amy: I* liked this but it was a little obvious for a massive score for me and I think there are versions of this song that would have fit way better. Nice job overall but this far I want more. Barry: I thought this song was liked by almost all? Anyway it was good Tony:10! Cherie:8 Amy:7 Barry:8 4. Theatre Jazz to That man by Caro Emerald by Kazanne and Giovanni Tony: Way better than I expected Cherie: Fabulous! Amy: Excellent choice, I feel like I am just repeating myself but you've all done incredible this round. This was a lot of fun and I could just see it on a stage somewhere Barry: This went so well with theatre dance. I loved it. Great song too. Tony:8 Cherie:10! Amy:9 Barry:10! 5. Paso Doble to Prince Charming by Adam & the Ants by Liam and Amy Tony: Just Awful Cherie: Another Inspired Choice! Amy: I'm not feeling this one I am afraid, I just can't see a Paso with this song at all, I found it a little flat which is a shame. Barry: I admit, I'm not a big fan of this song but it went well with a paso. So you get points. Tony:4 Cherie:10! Amy:5 Barry:8 6. Rumba to When you say nothing at all by Ronan Keating by Nicky and Nadiya Tony: That was decent Cherie: If I was Adam, I would be saying something along the lines of it would be best if you shut up, not my favourite and maybe a tad slow but different i guess Amy: Sadly I feel the same as the last about this one, it just didn't work for me, the beat was just wrong and I couldn't envision anything. Sorry, good luck. Barry: Slow, romantic and sung so well. For a rumba though? Yes I can see it. Tony:6 Cherie:8 Amy:6 Barry:8 |

**** you
that Monrose song has so much staccato in it, very suitable for a tango, and it is clearly the best summer song out of all those this week, but clearly it was rigged to get me out with this biased judges panel as for my rumba, well i personally like that song but i can remember how cliché some people find it, so it is my guilty pleasure and it suits rumba perfectly but thank you that i made the quarter final anyway i gave you all very great and entertaining performances but if i was forced out by this bias okay, i would've loved to have won this with my entertainment i'm very sad

since hot summer is great for tango, that staccato/slick beat when you say nothing at all is perfect for rumba and also a 3 in a quarter final
