Don't ask me to provide evidence for a claim that everyone gains immunity when I specifically said that not everyone gains immunity... twice?

Tables showing / comparing the data provided be all the countries when they’re not all ‘counting’ the same things are meaningless ...

Similarly showing USA at the top of the ‘death tally’ charts is also pointless given their relative population size .

So you can’t even say what % should have immunity because nobody knows as yet .

I haven’t seen any evidence of any immunity yet ... just people on the telly saying they’d presume there’ll be some immunity ..

There was a woman interviewed on BBCNews today who was completely underwhelmed by the ‘app’ .

She got a text saying she had been in close vicinity of a positive case and then a link to follow ... the link took her to this

At our local primary none of the staff have allowed their children to go to school, even though they have places as key workers. They aren't going to learn anything, it's just a baby sitting service, and it puts everyone at risk.

Our neighbour had to have a blood test today and the nurse at the surgery said she thinks it is madness sending children back so soon and that people who she knows on the frontline are currently preparing for a second wave. She is a parent who is having to juggle her shifts as she won’t send her children into school, despite being a key worker. It worries me when someone ‘in the know’ professionally is still so cautious.

Is there a reason you are posting the same posts in back to school and corona threads? can you stick to posting in one or the other one please, it will get read, no need to post everything twice!

Well that's fine, but everyone has a life outside the 'bubble' there is nothing to say any teacher/assistant won't contract the virus outside school and bring it inside their bubble, every single one of us runs that risk everyday.

Won't that force more to just move their money off shore and not pay tax here, how's that going to help?

Yes many are getting ready to do that.

It will affect average folks
other nations could also do this move.

There you go again denigrating people, the poster suggested he wanted the virus do he wouldn't catch it again, the reply indicated that might not be a given, and it isn't.
There were no timeframes mentioned were there?

The only fact we know is there's not enough known as yet about the virus yet to say anything for certain.
If you're privy to anything share your source, I'd be interested.

So effectively it's a tax, banking tax, on already taxed income... I can't understand what they are thinking here.
This is what we should be doing and should have from the start!

I have never disputed that, but if the children I gave in the example are interacting with 24 more people over a two week period than they need to be they there is increased risk to the children, which brings me back to the point that I made directly to TS that started off this 'debate' so it appears we have come full circle

England has more complex tangles

Its only in the FT

Britain sold a government bond with a negative yield for the first time on Wednesday, meaning the government is effectively being rewarded for borrowing after investors agreed to be repaid slightly less than they lent.
It joins Japan, Germany and some other European countries in selling debt yielding less than 0%, reflecting the prospect the coronavirus pandemic will cause a severe global recession and bond-buying by central banks to mitigate its impact

No they haven’t, they backtracked on not including foreign nhs staff in the bereavement scheme, the surcharge hike is still happening, shamefully

Oh, just seen it, good, it’s disgusting that they even had to shamed into backing down, it shouldn’t have been a thing in the first place
