I've never heard the Apatow era referred to as that. If I heard that, I'd have assumed movies like American Pie, Without a Paddle, Road Trip, Slackers, Harold & Kumar, Dude Where's My Car? etc.

The Apatow crew aren't part of the Frat Pack. The original FP members are Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughn, Will Ferrell, Steve Carell, Jack Black and Owen and Luke Wilson.

Yeah I guess that's true although there is a bit of overlap between those original Frat Pack members and the Apatow actors
