Didn't want this list to be buried in one of the random rounds, but it's a list I've put together for each of the 10s, 00s and 90s games that I've done so far and thought it might be of interest to those participating in them.
These singles peaked at #2 in the UK, and came as physically close to participating in this game as is possible. A full list is available here: https://www.officialcharts.com/chart...-chart__24082/ (the last of the 80s singles is Jason Donovan's When You Come Back To Me) a-ha - Take On Me Alice Cooper - Poison Black Lace - Agadoo Bobby McFerrin - Don't Worry Be Happy Bonnie Tyler - Holding Out for a Hero Bros - When Will I Be Famous? Cyndi Lauper - Girls Just Wanna Have Fun David Bowie - Modern Love / Absolute Beginners / China Girl Deniece Williams - Let's Hear It For the Boy Diana Ross - Upside Down Dionne Warwick - Heartbreaker Dire Straits - Walk of Life Duran Duran - A View to a Kill / The Wild Boys / Save a Prayer Eddy Grant - Electric Avenue Erasure - Sometimes Eurythmics - Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This) George Harrison - Got My Mind Set on You George Michael - Faith Harold Faltermeyer - Axel F Heaven 17 - Temptation The Human League - (Keep Feeling) Fascination / Mirror Man INXS - Need You Tonight Irene Cara - Flashdance... What a Feeling Jermaine Stewart - We Don't Have To Take Our Clothes Off John Lennon & Yoko Ono - Happy Xmas (War is Over) Kim Wilde - Kids in America Linda Ronstadt - Don't Know Much (feat. A lot of amazing songs there. Shocked a few of them weren't #1.

Can't believe Take On Me isn't a number one. I'm sure it was here in Canada. I was hoping it would be too three in the 80s poll

I think the UK charts are more forgiving than the Grammys. I mean, Mr Blobby and Bob the Builder had their way with us, why can't they?
