I agree that it was a one-time deal, once things are more or less up and running again, there's no realistic way to go back into lockdown. People are too fatigued and businesses are too fragile.

Wow compare this story with the Cummings !!

These guys should be sacked or made to resign surely

FOUR Sevilla players have made grovelling apologies after breaching lockdown rules and LaLiga’s protocol to have lunch with their Wags.

Midfielder Ever Banega’s wife Valeria Juan posted the photo that landed him and his team-mates in hot water - because it showed them gathered round a table with 12 people on it instead of the maximum ten at a bbq !

Hospital admissions are decreasing week on week

I know, totally amazing that footballers from a different league in a different country should be thought of as different things altogether. You will notice the words "grovelling apologies" which is also a separator from the cummings story.

Update ..

More news coming out about this. 40% of staff at the hospital have tested positive. I'm not sure who was chosen to be tested, but apparently all of those who have tested positive are presently asymptomatic.

Cases of Covid-19 have increased by over 100% in the last 24 hours at the hospital.

This seems to not be uncommon to be fair; a know a nurse who had her entire (small) community hospital tested and nearly 1/4 of the staff tested positive. All asymptomatic. Seems that, as was thought early on, the majority of cases may have few or no symptoms at all.

we need the antibody test so that we can get a proper idea of those infected and recovered. I know so many people that had symptoms and only a few were tested ... but those who were tested, tested positive. If we are dealing with a virus that is largely asymptomatic then the infected rate could by sky high

I really think that in London things are going vey well.
Death rates are going down and also the new cases.
Light at the end of the tunnel finally!

same how in New York they also see some light at the end of the tunnel, death rate is going down

also first few things being allowed again, for example sports teams there can resume training

as Andrew Cuomo stated yesterday: it's good to have sports back so people can have something to watch while in lockdown

That's good that things are improving.
Unfortunately we have to live with this virus, until they find a vaccine.
So I won't hide away. I will go out, but of course I'll keep social distancing.

I like Boris Johnson.
If Cummings son is autistic, as a father he was doing what was best for him.
I can understand that and by law it's allowed.

Just 59 deaths in England in the last 24 hours but bear in mind it's a bank holiday weekend
