Big enough grounds for 3 houses on his parents estate, but not enough room to test his eyesight.

If it was my birthday I would have demanded a picnic in their bluebell wood, not a ruddy test drive.😂

Well I thought he gave a good account of events and came across well .

The questions were all very similar and arguably pointless really as he’d already explained everything in great detail .

I maybe in the minority but who cares .

Night all ..

When they left for Durham, he didn't have 2 sick parents, but he did have an auntie less than an hour away.

Does the distance make a difference like?

6 mile or 250 mile...its still the same scenario...apart from the extra space to isolate at the grandparents farm.

As the child wasn't in any need for emergency care, both journeys are irrelevant, but if you had to arrange a child to be cared for in an emergency, it would definitely make sense to take up the one nearby, as opposed to the other end of the country.

I think his account was believable and acceptable....but the castle trip wasn’t...which then makes you question the rest of it...

Let’s see how it pans out...but I don’t think it will go away. If it doesn’t Boris will need to get rid of him then we can focus on what’s important.

Which part was believable? The bit where they decided to drive 250 miles in a lockdown for no good reason?

It would be the sensible option but perhaps after waying things up, going to Durham and the sanctuary of the farm was best all round for this particular family.

Pretty amazing he wasn’t clocked at the hospital picking up his wife and child and that no one noticed the emergency ambulance visiting the farm to pick up the child, but they were spotted in a wood

Childcare if they both fell ill....isn’t that a good enough reason?

His wifes sister lives nearby. Regardless, no one else in the country had the option to go where they wanted as long as it was for childcare. We're not goldfish with 20 second memories, we knew this, right?

Just show me the bit in boris' lockdown conference where he said lockdown was to be decided on a family by family basis.
