Default Coronavirus Outbreak

There have been a further 50 coronavirus-related deaths in NW hospitals. Its the fourth successive day that the numbers have risen. The figure presents more than a quarter of all the deaths in England and is by far the highest regional total. The total NW figure stands at 4,100 and yet the official table predicts the rate will fall here in the NW ..?

Risk has gone back up to high, yet they've removed that stupid rainbow graph because why let us plebes know what's going on as the gov is readying themselves to throw us all back into the pot.

For anyone old enough to remember what happened when Boris gave his clear and concise talk to the public.

when they say risk level has been raised to high, the graph would imply that either meant that the NHS could be overwhelmed (which it's not) or that your risk of catching it is high, which doesn't tie in with the reduce risk due to 2 metre social distancing and the fact that 1 in 400 are currently infected ..... or is that data untrue ....

They really need to define clearly what the high risk means so that we can be alert to it .... surely

That would involve actually thinking about the thresholds though, instead of making up a token graphic off the top of their heads.

i mean, we are obviously at risk if someone has it and they come and breathe on you ... but other than that, if the NHS is ticking over nicely, i don't see how things can be categorised as high, unless there is something they are not telling us ....

I just have a feeling that they will say ... well we told you the risk level was high on 28th May, and it's your fault for ignoring it

According to that link the risk was raised to high on March 12th, no mention of it having been lowered since then

But what if it was bird flu, so you had a chicken that had escaped with the virus? In that instance, would you see fit to choke your chicken?
