No need to go Zizu, there aren’t that many people on here and when threads are bumped the posts are read, it can be a little annoying to see a thread bumped and then find its the same post you have just read, your thought are always very welcome

Thank you for your kind words..

It’s probably time for me to take a break from here .. I have Aspergers which in my case comes with some positives but many more negatives ( including obsessiveness and over- thinking issues )

I’m finding coping with the virus situation and all that it entails extremely stressful.

Where’s the problem if a certain post/topic applies to two or more different threads often populated /seen by different groups of people .

It’s disappointing that people like myself ( Aspergers types ) are constantly being hounded out of threads and even forums just because of our obsessive ways and the way we come at issues from different angles as as such often have different viewpoints ( normally in the minority of course ) .

Maybe one day our society will be more tolerant or even sympathetic to our issues and foibles .

Nobody knew you were aspergers Zizu, so we are taking you at face value, now you have explained it, I guess I can tolerate the multi posting

If you feel you need to take a break though, mentally that can be a good thing x

I'd hardly call one forum member pointing out you'd copied and pasted the same post in different threads "hounded".

Probs best take a break, get a fresh perspective. You'll be fine.

Well it’s by no means the first time it’s been mentioned sooo ... plus it’s not just this either.

As I said by simply thinking ‘differently’ to most quite often results in different conclusions being reached and that has a knock on effect when expressing opinions .

Jees , if I had a fiver for every time I’ve been called a WUM or a troll or whatever just for expressing an honest opinion .

Hmm. If I'd known the reason I'd have asked in a different way Zizu - though personally I'd still advise against doing it, or even just adding "as I posted in the _____ thread" at the top.

In terms of feeling hounded out because you have a different opinion/way of looking at things or people disagree with you and that there should be special consideration, I'm afraid I disagree. You know your limitations, I'm not going to patronise you, it's a debates forum and if you find debates or being strongly disagreed with emotionally overwhelming then yes the answer is taking a step back. If someone strongly disagrees with you they're going to say so, just as if anyone else said it. People aren't always going to agree or like what you have to say. When you share a thought on a debate forum, you have to accept that

I may well do as things are very soon going to be getting far more difficult at work ( school) .

Having Aspergers is a great benefit when supporting young teenagers with autism or Aspergers as I generally know how they’re feeling and how to keep their stress levels under control ....but oddly enough I don’t manage my own stress levels quite as well ..
