She and Carlotta are the best female pros too.

Vanessa Baur just gets given experienced skaters year after year. Carlotta and Alex really bring out the best in their dance partners.

Alex is one of the best female skaters. The way Joe Swash rose up the rankings so quickly after being given her as a partner!

I think Vanessa Bauer has been hailed as the ~star~ of the show and perhaps Alex Murphy is a threat to that. They're always bigging up Vanny for creating "new and never-before-seen moves", hence why she always gets the most skilled male celebs.

Alex was actually the best that DOI had pro wise, none of the ‘new’ generation have really taken off (Carotta at a push) other than her
