Breaking In - really enjoyed it, although the Latino guy was an awful actor - 7/10

Orphan - it was ok, I kinda guessed the twist though 6/10

Hadn’t seen Inglourious Basterds for a while so gave it a rewatch.

Just epic isn’t it, the big finale in the cinema when Shoshanna sabotages the Nazi movie and I just [literally] blows up from there - goosebumps. One of the most satisfying movie endings I’ve experienced.

9/10.

This was intense. A brilliant and realistic plane hijacking movie starring Joseph-Gordon Levitt who was so convincing as the co-pilot.

Catwoman (2004)

Terrible CGI, awful acting, loads of cringey scenes.

Still a guilty pleasure of mine.

5/10.

The sex is often hilarious
It glorifies kidnapping
... And sexual assault
The title of the movie ends up being meaningless
Several plot points go absolutely nowhere
It ends really abruptly (and again I laughed)

Honestly I recommend it highly its so funny. But NSFW.

[SPOILER]There's a scene where he has her tied to the bed then gets some other woman in, to "show her what she's missing". "Oh he's about to show this lady a good time!", I think. He lies back on a chair, she gives him a blowjob, he cums after 20 SECONDS and she walks out the room! This is meant to be a sexy scene... Tied up lady DOES look like she's missed out. This is not a parody. I ****ing screamed

"Hey bebe if u werent tied up, it could be YOU having my premature ejaculation on your chin. So think about THAT."

That sounds like it would turn Mars Of Destruction into a masterpiece in comparison.

The Departed - 10/10

Incredible

The cast alone is great, but those last 15 minutes were so good. So many twists and turns.

Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark - eh, a bit crap, it jumps in head first and the tone of the film ends up all over the place. The main girl looks really young and I couldn’t take her seriously in the role when she looked like she should have been in a Disney film instead. I think it could have been done a lot better. 4/10

Between two Ferns : The Movie - Kind of an odd film but I enjoyed, it was amusing rather than hilarious 6/10

American Graffiti and More American Graffiti.
I'd seen the first one a couple of times before but had no idea that they'd made a sequel. I enjoyed the second one much more... it dealt with how the character's lives changed in the face of 1960s civil unrest, police heavy handedness and the Vietnam war. 8/10 for the first one, 9/10 for the second.

I've never seen the second one. I assumed it would be worse.

It involves all the characters from the first one, except Richard Dreyfus. I'd recommend it.

Maleficent: Mistress of Evil

It was mostly quite boring, most of the characters stand around waiting for the big third act battle to happen and there's very little content and story in it at all. It also relies on all the characters in it being quite dumb for the plot to even happen in the first place. I thought the first one was a passable way to spend 90 mins but this was torturous.

1/10
