No wonder most people prefer to shop online.
Much safer and less hassle.
I fear for the high street, this won't help them at all.

I can see "famous people faces" becoming a thing. There's already a "Tiger King" one

Something i have noticed since lockdown started is that the majority of people have taken to walking down the middle of the road rather than on the pavement, and it's still going on now

Can't say I've noticed anything like that . I remember back at the beginning of lockdown everyone had gone a bit mad though. Pedestrians being less traffic aware. People's driving went to **** too. Maybe it was just complacency on the emptier roads.

538 is certainly within the scope of effective track and trace, so thats pretty good. It should be possible to keep driving that number down

Netherlands: our health minister Hugo De Jonge, who has also been there at weekly covid press conferences has won leadership seat for CDA

https://www.dutchnews.nl/news/2020/0...ip-of-the-cda/

https://www.cnbc.com/2020/06/18/coro...-suggests.html

also this one was from a month ago, but it was re-confirmed again by studies here in Netherlands, that you can get covid again, that antibodies do indeed disappear on long term, however scientists here think it does remain in the cell's memory so whenever you have the virus, it could possibly make antibodies then sooner (but this is a theory so we'll see when the second wave hits us)

Coronavirus vaccine hopes rise after strong trial results...

Oxford scientists believe they have made a breakthrough in their quest for a Covid-19 vaccine after discovering that the jab triggers a response that may offer a "double defence" against the virus.

Phase I human trials of the world-leading Oxford vaccine have shown that it generates an immune response against the disease, the Telegraph has learned.

Blood samples taken from a group of UK volunteers given a dose of the vaccine showed that it stimulated the body to produce both antibodies and "killer T-cells", a senior source said.

The discovery is promising because separate studies have suggested that antibodies may fade away within months while T-cells can stay in circulation for years.

...full story...
