Default Pet Sematary

So i just finished reading this (haven’t seen either of the movies yet) and do y’all agree that he should have just left the wendigo stuff out of the story? Like it feels like a really cheap B movie monster addition and it would have been so much better just left as like a creepy burying ground think

I’m pressed

The original movie is pretty good. The sequel is ok too.

There's no Wendigo mentioned in the remake movie, nor in the original IIRC but it's ages since I saw that.

Not going to lie, I take my youngest to bed every night and lie with her for a bit and I suffer horrendous panic getting out of the bed in the dark and quickly scurry away ... and it is for this EXACT reason .

Obviously completely illogical but there's this moment of "yeah but WHAT IF..."

I really thought this book was quite shite just because of how it’s hyped as one of the scariest ever and even king said it was his scariest
