I should add Smash Bros Melee at Uni although I wasn't exactly a child. But we played it pretty much every day for 2 years. And Guitar Hero

Oddworld: Abe’s Exoddus - Trying to find and rescue all 300 mudokons was hard and I was even more fumed when I found out about the clue as to where the secret areas were and how obvious it was .

Driver 2 - Loved exploring the different cities although the Undercover mode was pretty difficult especially the Havana missions.

Spyro/ Crash - Great games although how I hated these soo much

There’s so many others too but I’ll end up writing a whole list so these few will do for now
