not surprised at all Blair went, I would say its anti-climax but honestly this is a great top 3 and Blair is cute but the other 3 are miles ahead

The maxi challenge was....lukewarm to say the least. I wish Juju won this one so the top 3 had two wins going into the finale.
It kind of made sense for Cracker to win, though again everything she does is forced, and really her drag does nothing to me.
The lipsync was lukewarm too. Cracker doing the exact same moves a thousand times every lipsync, and Kennedy was just walking around doing God knows what.
The runway looks were fine, Juju had the best one obviously.

Blair going home makes sense, so that leaves us with the most obvious top 3 in the history of Drag Race. And somehow that feels good to have a coherent top 3.
Praying for a Shea or Juju win. We know Shea will deliver a strong performance, so there's hope for a non-Cracker win. I just can't help but wanting to see Juju win, she's so great!

I think the tea this week was that Kennedy made it publicly clear that she hates lip syncing to this song/artist at some point before and they chose it for her anyway lmao. Coming after the tea that the Cracker/Morgan lipsync was restarted due to cracker underperforming, it seems like they could be trying to set her up for the crown.

I thought Cracker deserved the win, but I was hoping for a Juju win, but she just didn’t deliver. Definitely Blair’s time to go, it’s nice to have an AS where the finalists all deserve to be there

Neutron Dance, Juice and maybe Open Your Heart (even though there are far better Madonna songs they could have used first) have been the only decent lip sync songs so far, I'd say

India vs. Yvie was a good lip sync but it had nothing to do with the song choice

Yep very underwhelmed. The only one that was good for me was the first one.

Decent episode. I thought jujubee should of won that but at the same time I see how cracker got the win. I was scared jujubee was going. Her or Shea to win!!

A pretty bad episode. The challenge was meh, nobody excelled and I think the runway was quite underwhelming bar Juju's.

I think the voting twist has worked so far this season and I'd like to see it return next AS along with the lipsync assassin but they really need to pick the real assassins (Only Yvie, Alyssa, Morgan & Kennedy count as assassins tbh) AND they need to pick songs that work for the assassins. Bringing Kennedy in just to do a low energy song is just pointless. The songs also need to be better in general, it's all very one note songs. all mid tempo stuff that's difficult to do anything noteworthy with.

Also give the assassins the chance to win something, in theory they could throw the lip sync if it was beneficial to someone that was up for the chop

She's not a bad lipsyncher but I feel like she has one or two signature moves and the rest is kind of just okay, I love the kitty wig reveal into another kit wig, I love the fakeout splits and such but I don't find her lipsynching outside of stuff like that to be assassin-worthy. She's a solid lipsyncher and I do appreciate the effort but I wouldn't call her an assassin.

Yeah, Alyssa was disappointing but, to interpret things more kindly for her, maybe she didn't want to take 10k away from someone when she had nothing to lose either. I think we would have gotten a very different lipsync if, as Smithy suggested, the Assassins had something to gain.

It still bothers me that they did a lipsync assassins twist and they didn't bring back Dida, Trinity K. Bonet, Latrice, Peppermint, Naomi Smalls or (arguably) Kameron (nowhere near as good as the others listed).

Hopefully they're saving them for future seasons.

Alyssa is a messy lipsyncer tbh, I just don't understand her appeal at all. Definitely a talented dancer but has absolutely no idea how to channel a song. And you can't say Monet has "the same one or two moves" (she doesn't) and then name Kameron Michaels who did the same split in 3 lipsyncs in a row even the producers accidentally threw shade at her for that, putting them side-by-side when calling her a lipsync assassin during the top 4 deliberations. I think AS4 proved that Latrice isn't capable of shining during a high-tempo song either.

I suppose it's hard to quantify an assassin when we're really basing it on their show performances. Queens have come back for All Stars and given surprising lipsync performances we wouldn't have thought them capable of; Dela SUCKED at her S5 lipsyncs against Darienne and then brought it for Anaconda vs. Aja and Nobody's Supposed to Be Here vs. Bebe. Tatianna had very blah showings in her S2 lipsyncs vs Jessica Wild and Jujubee, but then did That vs Alyssa in AS2. Shea didn't really do anything right in either of her S9 lipsyncs but did great on Neutron Dance and Open Your Heart.

But like you say, these were examples where they were fighting for something - Tatianna to get back in the competition, Shea to redeem her lipsyncing abilities, and Dela to win the lipsync and send herself home on her own terms, so yeah the Assassins need a chance to win the money.

We need Detox and Katya next year tbh. There's always something mesmerizing about Detox and her "severe" ways, and Katya in a lipsync is always a good time.

And btw, if they really want to make it tough for the AS contestants, give the assassins something they're good at. Really this week Kennedy was screwed over and that intentional.

Best lipsync of the season was India vs Yvie. Morgan McMichaels really brought it in her lipsync against Cracker too. Aside from that, pretty much all the lipsync assassins have been underwhelming af.

Hmm, maybe I need to revisit Monet's lipsyncs, maybe her inconsistent AS lipsyncs have coloured my memories of her S10 ones.

I'm not a huge fan of Kameron's lipsyncs but I mentioned her as she's often considered lip sync assassin (and I think she's better than say, Vanjie).

I was just listening to a podcast with one of the producers/writers on All Stars 5, season 12 and Celeb Drag Race, who spilled the following tepid tea:

- She came up with the Get a Room hotel challenge (but was disappointed with the final result), and wrote Gay's Anatomy and Crystal and Sherry's parts of the Madonna rusical in season 12
- She pitched a Dungeons and Drag Queens challenge that was ultimately never used
- A bunch of roast jokes were written for the Celeb Drag Race contestants, but only a couple were used (most were written by the contestants themselves)
- She confirmed that the Morgan/Cracker lip sync was restarted halfway through
- She says that Shea did worse in the standup challenge than the edit suggested
- She thinks the phone call thing at the end of the episode has something to do with a cut gag where Ru would call the lip sync assassin every episode (using a different phone each time)
- According to her, there'll be an All Stars 5 reunion

Yeah this was the weakest episode yet, just really boring to watch. Nobody aced the challenge but Jujubee was the only one who made me laugh and she had the best runway, she was definitely robbed this week ! (Juju 4.0 is what we demand because she just doesn’t stand a chance next week unfortunately )
