If Trump wins, and lets face it, atm it's looking close, will there be a Civil War in the US?

Well, with his long history of cheating and stealing, you can’t count anything out no, plus the electoral college is designed to give an advantage to the republicans.

The problem Trump has is that he’s only got his core base left, he’ll very rarely lose a member of his cult, but the more extreme and volatile he becomes, the more swing voters and centrist republicans he’ll continue to lose, he needs to build his base and evidence shows he’s just not doing that

Well if he won, there wouldn't be any need. It would be terrible for the economy and the US in general.

More chance of him provoking a Civil War if he loses.

If he wins, there’ll be protests and he’ll encourage his gun but cult to go out and ‘defend the streets’ and it’ll lead to utter mayhem and if he loses he’ll claim it was rigged against him and urge his gun nut cult out to defend his honour and fight the system, either way, he’ll do his best to ignite a bloodbath

They’ll help for sure, but judging by the polls, the debates will be their time to play for the slim amount of people who haven’t yet made up their minds, there’s about 12% of likely voters who are undecided either way.

If Biden and his team are smart, they won’t get into a slanging match, they should leave Trump to have his usual tantrum, with the name calling and bluster and Joe should stick to the facts and show he’s the adult who can deal with the pressure and have the decency a president needs.

Yeah i said before, if Biden 'steps up to the plate' and comes across as a leader (which atm he isn't currently doing), he'll win. I have no doubt about that.

As it stands, i still feel Trump will be victorious, but A LOT can happen and change. It's all on how Biden acts/reacts/conducts himself in the debates!

You don’t think he’s coming across as a leader? The last couple of appearances/press conferences he’s done he’s appeared very presidential, he’s been compassionate, he’s been clear, he’s getting his message across, he’s handling the ludicrous fear mongering Trump is throwing out pretty well, side by side with Trump the stark difference in their souls will be very clear

I don't no. He comes across very weak, and a terrible candidate. His appointment of Harris as VP was bizarre to say the least.

It's a shame both candidates are so weak, im glad i don't get a vote (just like a lot of left leaning people who have stated they'll refuse to vote).

Biden is a bad choice. A 'previous' racist who adopts 'good og politics'. Hopefully he'll turn the corner withe right people advising him.

He's not as bad as Trump, but Biden offers very little. A leader he is not!

Lets hope he hits the ball out of the park during the debates.

Well yeah, I don’t think he was many people’s first choice tbh, but I think he’s far from being a ‘bad’ candidate, it should have been Bernie, but in an election where it’s so important to gain votes from the centre, Biden was the clear choice.

Biden can surround himself with good people who will help steer him in the right direction, Bernie will get a job, he’ll have the squad in congress, Important things can be worked on, but the most important thing in this election is to get rid of Trump, everything else comes second.

I will never understand non-voters, especially in such an important election cycle

I still think the Democrats virtually deserve to lose for choosing Biden tbh. I think Bernie could, if not take it home, provide a proper threat to Trump. If not Bernie they still should have chosen someone less "Establishment" than Biden.

well republicans also have loads more qualified for the job than Trump but in the end they went for a orange moronic troll just because of his social media fanbase

at least Biden already has a bit of experience (having been Obama's VP) i do think going back to that is what america needs, also Biden should bring back ObamaCare what trump so rudely gotten rid of

Million % there will be , people might aswell prepare themselves for another 4 years of that orange lunatic !. He always gets his own way , he has a baby tantrum when he thinks people disagree with him.

He's the one causing more segregation and hate in the country , he doesn't give a damn.

He'll continue to F the country up so badly that the next president in 2024 won't know what to do !! .

Bernie isn't a democrat. He's an independent who caucuses with the democrats.

Hilary's lead at this stage was 2 -3 points (basically within the margin of error), Bidens is 10. Nothing is guaranteed especially with voter suppression, but this isn't a 2016 race.

You're asking the wrong question. Trump is the one who said back in 2016 that he wouldn't accept a vote that didn't go his way and he has more to lose by being removed from office since him and most of his kids within the administration are basically gonna end up in orange jumpsuits when they aren't in power.

Trump will attempt to stoke rebelion and civil war if he loses, and failing that, he'll probably try to flee the US.

Anyone is better than Trump at this point, still would prefer Kamala to take over even though she's far from ideal but they're both smart enough to at least right the boat that is the US and they will be better for us to deal with in a post-brexit world than Trump.

Trump will have a tantrum, but he wont flee the US. It's fair to say he has millions of supporters, they wont just stop their support if he loses.

Also about his kids, there is no way that will happen. Nothing like that as never happened, and it wont this time round. Money talks!

And that support won't mean much when he's put on trial for all the crimes he has committed, which is why you can guarantee he'll try to flee as soon as he has to leave office.

Do you know about his kids and how they've profitted from the administration through government contracts with businesses they either own or have stakes in? And that's the tip of the iceberg. They're just as corrupt as he is and they'll most likely occupy a cell at some point after Trump's time in office ends.

There's a theory that Trump might quit, install Pence as President, and Pence then pardons Trump. It'll work and he''l be safe from investigation when hes out of office.

I agree wtih Dezzy he may leave the country cuz the new President may order the DOJ to crawl up his ass and investigate eveything he's ever done.
