This is heading to again resembling being chaotic.
If this keeps up, there'll be few areas not affected by restrictions. The testing mess should never have now been an issue. This has been with us for over 6 months. This doing it seems, bits of this and that here and there. Is actually leading to little success. The testing, for goodness sake, sending schools back, universities returning, pushing more people back to work, stopping all shielding for those who would still feel safer with it, so not needing to go out. How on earth can they say too many are wanting tests. Yet they've shoved all those people back to work, schooling etc. Surely the most basic common sense would dictate hoards more would need assurances of the test being available. Why has no proper preparation for that been in place, BEFORE the government opened so much up so soon. I really hope Hospitals have been able to prepare better than this blame passing, useless PM and Health secretary along with the rest of the incompetent cabinet. What a mess, an incompetent and almost endlessly deceitful mess. |

i was watching Germany's stern tv, there was a interview with one of their health advisors
apparently they are looking more closely at Sweden's approach to covid-19 crisis, about what we can learn from the Swedes

They had several "quiet months" to make sure testing capacity was robust... Instead, they chose to think it was heading towards being "over" and left it as it was or in some areas even reduced... Even though the majority of experts indicated a second wave being likely and, in fact, reliable testing availability being the best way to mitigate a second wave.
Just ludicrous really. |

if we had proper testing we wouldn't need the wide ranging restrictions so the government is actually responsible for our loss of personal freedom ... it is their fault, from their incompetence

When in fact if we had a “world beating” test and trace system with more testing we would be in a better situation. |

our PM Rutte has been live
still unknown when we got enough test capacity it was first set at 30.000 a day, but because of also people with minor symptoms who want to let themselves tested, it is at 70.000 a day, so there are far too little testkits Rutte has so far said nothing about any stricter measures for youth and universities, government is still discussing with mayors from each region what to do next PVDA (Labour) leader Asscher said our government is losing sight at the spread and dangers of the virus, he calls it dangerous there is far too little being tested Wilders lashed out at Rutte, calling him the PM of the deception of a corrupt nation ''netherlands has been going backwards in last 10 years and YOU are responsible for that''

Jacob Rees-Mogg’s Company Accounts show £103M profit over last 5 years, but paid ZERO UK corporation tax as ultimate ownership is in the Cayman Islands. No contribution for schools, hospitals, roads, defence, public services, welfare etc. No wonder he is keen to avoid new EU tax laws.
