Really enjoyed last night show.
The Panesars are great, they're giving me Mitchells vibe.

Yeah I agree, I would have been much more interested to see how Jean Slater or Whitney are doing since they haven't even been featured yet.

Gray/Chantelle storyline sends shivers down my spine. I find myself constantly willing Kheerat Panesar to get involved but we know the storyline ends badly so it's maddening that he doesn't manage to get to her in time!

...this is getting so upsetting because we know the conclusion to that storyline with Chantelle/Gray...itís almost unbearable to watch..and sheís so close to actually finding happiness with someone else as well...ughhhh and the children, itís just all too heartbreaking......

The Gray/Chantelle scenes are getting SO dark and the way that they're aided by different cinematic techniques are putting me way more on edge. It is very clear that throughout lockdown Gray has completely SNAPPED and this whole obsessive abusive husband thing is really reaching its climax.

Since Channy is in that Southend cafe at the end of last nights episode, I wonder if Gray will do something to her whilst they're on their staycation? If not, you can guarantee on Friday's episode that Mitch and Karen will be babysitting Mack/Mia whilst Chantelle goes back to the house with Gray for one final time </3

...when he had the children up at the bedroom windows, it felt like something out of a horror movie...itís becoming so unbearable to watch...and uggggghhhh, she has such a chance to have happiness with someone, finally...

Well, I wasn't expecting her to go out like that.

I expected a cut away as he beat her and us largely having to use our imaginations. Really quite brutal.

Just hope they don't spoil it by dragging out the aftermath to the point that he starts beating Whitney or threatening Karen.

Oh you just know they can't resist the opportunity to throw misery at Whitney at every given opportunity. They ain't going to miss the chance for her to get with another abuser.

She was an amazing character. Loved her. One of the shows most tragic exits. Xx

...it was so gruelling to watch and even though we knew her fate, I was still willing her to succeed in getting the children and getting away from him...which I think is a tribute to how well it was done...it was just all so harrowing and must have felt so for all actors involved...and ughhhhh, the sadness in her dad feeling that something wasnít right from the last time he saw her and trying to contact her..../...heartbreaking....this was the way she would have peace from him... so so, sad...and now he has the children../...theyíre left with him...I canít even think about that.....Iím so fearful for them...

...I donít know what the actor is called who plays Gray...but I wonder how playing such a character in a soap particularly when people are more typecast...impacts on any future roles or no ...whether it would make it more difficult to get roles beyond Eastenders because heís become such a Ďhated/detestableí.../..interesting...

...anyways, Eastenders at its best...and at itís worst and most sad and harrowing...

I thought they would have him drown her in the bath after the scene last week

I wont lie I cried watching it, both actors were outstanding and Jessica deserves awards.
