People that say glass half full are optimistic. People that say glass half empty are negative people. Says a lot.

The best thing to do is wash your hands, keep distance and wear masks where required.

The PM does not want you to hide away
unless you are in a Lockdown mini zone

As to those who claim to be exempt with no official documentation to support their claim, medically or otherwise.

It has been reported
to come from Downing St.

8PM tonight
all main channels
Prerecorded - 5mins from our PM.

Ł200 Fine for any that refuse to put a mask
on.

I put that wrongly.

Yes he said about facecoverings in retail outlets now extended to staff wearing them too.

What I meant was the getting around these people who CLAIM to be exempt while never having to prove they may be with medical documentation.

What's he going to do with those?
Without something more official.

To be fair, I see very few in Stores with no facecovering on.
The last one I saw was in an automated wheelchair so I assumed they could be exempt.

See if he says any more on that tonight.

if you make people get a certificate, you then put the pressure on doctors to approve it, which is crazy too

Why.
Doctors have all patients ful medical history and current conditions information with them at the surgeries.

They'd know of any patients they themselves would not expect to wear a facecovering were they needed to be seen at the surgery.

How is it crazy to expect medical Doctors to officially confirm?

What if someone on the other example, got fined when they could or should have been exempt?

Not crazy at all, just have the authorisation from the Doctors who KNOW the facts.

"See if he says any more on that tonight."

Yes but make sure you watch it 8PM sharp
as many are saying its brief, prerecorded.

I think there is also a prominent cut off of point for the tolerance of the public to follow the rules, and that was Dominic Cummings.

if you look back on it, that was a turning point that could have been smoothed if Boris had the balls to sack him

I think people were starting to slide but yes, the whole Cummings circus was definitely a catalyst. They needed to send a message that the rules were serious, and thus that breaking them would come with serious consequences. Then Cummings broke them massively, they argued blue in the face that he didn't and everyone had misunderstood, and made excuses for him. He faced no visible consequence whatsoever, so people realised that... Hey... If you just don't bother following the rules, in all likelihood nothing will happen. There would never have been massive consequences, but the all-important illusion of consequences was shattered.
