Default Things that were acceptable 10 years ago but not anymore

As it says in the title. I’ll start with a subtly casual degree of racism, misogyny and homophobia on the part of people aged 30+. There’s no denying LGBT relations in particular have come the longest way since 2009.

For some reason I thought that read Cher Lloyd. Save for her eye candy she was never acceptable.

Having a thick skin and/or sense of humour?

When I was a teen, everyone roasted everyone else and no-one gave a crap about being "offended". What happened?

These days some people get offended at literally everything. If you say hello to someone they would probably get offended

Calling people love, hun, chick I always found people that said that were friendly but apparently its viewed as sexist and patronising these days!

I mean, I’m pretty sure most people would say they can still do that with people they know

For sure, if you don't constantly rip the **** out of your friends, are you even friends? Though caustic chumminess seems to be a British thing rather than universal tbh

I wouldn't say just British, definitely Irish and an Aussie thing as well. "Chumminess" is most certainly British though

Throwing stink bombs through my friends letterbox. I doubt his family would find it funny now that I’m 26.

So it hasn’t really changed much at all then has it? Unless you just want to be able to make fun of strangers
