That's not all that unusual though, there are quite a few countries with at least "heavily recommended" vaccines required before travel and have been for decades.

Its such a weird time we live in, I think, where people have come to consider holidays abroad to be a "right" or even an "essential". I guess maybe because it's not something I generally ever did as a kid or now as a family... I went abroad twice throughout my whole childhood, and my own kids have been abroad once (and that was 6 years ago). Its just not something I've ever thought of as an annual requirement .

Like how about... Just don't go to Spain for a few years.
