Default Wales or Oz?

Do you think IAC 2021 will remain in Wales or back in Oz?

I think it will be back in Wales again next year. Then return to Australia in 2022.

at least someone who has been on tv displaying some talent?

Giovanna is multi talented and far far better than Shane uphimself Richie who is a household name. She has had best selling books and has millions of followers. I had never heard of her I will admit that and I am definitely not a fan of her husbands band but she was one of the best campmates ever and if its a choice of someone I dont know who is truly themselves in there or someone I have seen on TV for years who think he is cock of the walk I will take Giovanna any day

I'd be more than happy to ditch the celeb version and just use members of the public, who would be more interesting

They really would not. The format is dull enough with well known people, never mind unknowns.

If you don't know her how do you know she was truly herself?

Because from what people who know her say she is a truly down to earth girl and very relatable and it seems the public agreed when they crowned her their winner. I formed my opinion of her from seeing her in there from the very start and immediately liked her. Was delighted she won.

I wouldn't expect you to inform your opinion on her on anything else but what you saw.

But, ALL of their family and friends told us they were the "real them". They're not really going to say otherwise.

Might not even be Wales, or a castle. Could be something completely different but the format seemed to prove popular so I don't see why they shouldn't return if Oz is out of the question again.

having members of the public only on a regular IAC show is dull

No i haven't, but a show like this would not work with a civilian version

otherwise you need to change the entire show's name, concept

but what you guys can do for variation, maybe a sort of ''special'' in Wales for members of the public, and the winner gaining a spot in next regular I'm a Celeb series in australia (more like superfan contestants only and most popular superfan acquiring a spot on regular IAC)

what Germany does now for its replacement show (only them having celebs there) but similar concept, with winner gaining a spot on next regular IAC in 2022

tbh Germany's celeb quality is also not really necessary most A-listers, but they usually more go for either ''new talent, career revivals, household names so basically people who been on regular RTV, as for actors/actresses mostly ones who are recognizable for public of course''

same as for Lets dance over there, last series of both, i kinda recognized a few names myself (and that is surprising considering i ain't german, but thankfully me watching quite a lot of german tv now, that helps with me recognizing any celebs there)

I don't care who you like or don't like.

I commented on your "the real them" line that gets thrown about a lot during these shows. No one knows who anyone is unless you know them personally.

End of.

+1

exactly, and especially not in scripted RTV shows
