Good, the number in hospital is nearly at peak first wave levels, they appear to have cut deaths by nearly 50 per cent but cant imagine what the levels will be if Christmas goes ahead as normal

Then again when this virus was first discovered they all said they’d CONTAIN it over there but within days we were shipping/flying thousands of Brits back into our country ..

I meant that Scotland were right to go into tier 4, as usual we are late to the party.

I know Wales are struggling but I still agree with their decision to lock down when we didn't. Who knows how much worse it couldve been?

the infection rate went from below the national average to the worst in england in the space of a couple of weeks here, during a period where we were either locked down or in tier 3. I dont see what further restrictions could do unless it is a lock down like we had in March

only difference now is people are not gonna listen anymore

They need to delay schools going back after christmas until they have this new strain way under control or there will be wave after wave of it when the kids and unis are back
