It's been reported she is being made a Dame, in my opinion its very well deserved

I don't really believe in this honours stuff but I'm surprised she isn't already a Dame tbh.

Yup. People like her, Michael Palin, John Cleese, JK Rowling, Andy Murray ... you'd have thought they'd all have been Knighted or Damed years ago...
