That's what they lived on during the war Arista! I'm sure you remember it well.

But are they trying to make out that this is an example of panic buying? That looks like a relatively normal xmas trolley tbh.

Went out to the Simply food at the petrol station as TS spooked me that I would get no brussels, all very quiet on the roads, swing into the carpark at Sains it was busy but not overly so, and no queue to get into the carpark or the shop the guys they hired for car park control were in a huddle chatting,

Yes the French Drivers must get back.

Here's a (non-expert) theory.

Don't the lockdowns encourage new strains to evolve that spread more easily? Through the rules of natural selection: the more easily-transmitted versions of the virus are the ones that are passed on while the less-transmittable strains are suppressed.

think of it in terms of red squirrels and grey squirrels. Grey squirrels breed easier in the uk than red ones, so we quickly became over run by the little buggers, this is the same with covid

i had read the vaccine might also help against any new strain, since they come from the same virus

maybe you then just need more doses than against the old strain

Exactly we want the cute china coronavirus back on top, not this mutated one.

There is no evidence the current vaccine won’t work, no additional doses required
