I heard on Sky that doctors and nurses are dropping like flies as they have NOT been vaccinated !?

Is this true ?

I presumed that surgeons / doctors/ nurses etc would be the first ones to get the vaccine !!

Its pointless having hospitals and vaccines if there aren’t any medics !!!

I don’t see how it works ..

A secondary school with 1250 may have a staff of 150 ... so all those in a building with another 100 volunteers ...

Each test takes a minimum of 30 minutes plus they have to wait around for the result and they’re saying they will be tested each week ..

I also heard on the radio that the swab test was less than 60% accurate !!

Lockdown 1 cases can not be comparible, as we people were not able to be tested / had little to none access to tests in April. So often the cases are seen around 5k over lockdown 1 which is the same as our summer

Yeah the increased numbers of tests does kinda impact on the number of positive cases..

Guess the only really relevant figures are the hospitalised , on ventilators and the daily death number.

Is there a site where I/we can compare those figures ??

It's rising exponentially, it will be 100k a day by mid January. They need to bring in another strict lockdown or the NHS is going to be completely overwhelmed

Even tier 4 is not enough to contain the new variant.

yes the rise in new cases in UK is very bad

one thing what is looking good over here in my country, but that is the only thing, here we need to get hospitalisation numbers to go down, i said to my mom just now, why that we are not thinking of a ''Nightingale'' temporary hospital

At what point does everyone realise, things didn't have to be like this?

Maybe clapping wasn't the best strategy to combat the virus, afterall.

All the lines of people you see outside gp surgeries....unfortunately things are going to get worse as the weather worsens as nobody off an age will be able to stand in those lines like the summer time..the ambulances will be over stretched ferrying people to and from..

Bring the army out..its our final card to play to beat this winter misery
