Thanks Ammi! It’s nice to have some reassurance during these times! I’m glad you’re family are also okay

I'm still not sure why they haven't made people wear masks on the streets since people are allowed to go for walks so they will be people passing each other.

Could be they think it's not enough
air if someone is infected
as you are moving past them.

If I am going between food shops
I keep my mask on.

Italy makes you keep your mask on at all times.

I'd rather have perminant belly ache than watch a Downing street, Corona Virus briefing.

Sooooo just said in the daily briefing that things won’t improve until mid Feb when we’ve vaccinated the 15 million most vulnerable people ...but hopefully they’ve all been keeping themselves safe at home for most of the time and they’re not the ones currently spreading the infection .... so what difference will all those vaccines do to the massive numbers of daily infections ??

And then in mid February, things will improve by May, definitely, honestly, pinky swear.

He said nothing of the sort, in fact he implied they were socialising rather then exercising and probably not social distancing, hence the fine

...it was also referring to Boris Johnson who was cycling 7 miles from his home so it needs to have clarification how far is recommended to travel...

Boris Johnson spotted cycling seven miles from Downing Street in Olympic Park...

Boris Johnson was spotted seven miles from Downing Street cycling around the Olympic Park on Sunday afternoon.

The Prime Minister was wearing his TfL hat and a face mask when he was seen cycling with his security detail in Stratford, east London, at around 2pm.

Official Government guidance on exercise says it should be limited to once a day and “you should not travel outside your local area”.

The park has been noticeably busy with families exercising and the PM is said to have been concerned by what he saw in the area.

Well if everyone was following the guidelines then you’d hope that that would SLOW things down somewhat BUT the suggestion was that it was the vaccinating of the 15 million by mid Feb that would have an effect on things ..

it will have an affect on deaths and hospitalisations? as it is unlikely those vaccinated will get a serious case of the disease, they will be tracking to see if those vaccinated can still transmit the virus in any meaningful way
