To be fair, "original Covid" here isn't thought to be the one that initially spread in China, but could (probably) be more accurately called "Italian Covid" or at least European. Potentially a part of the reason that Asia has seen fewer cases is that they haven't actually been battling the same strain as Europe and the US. There are theories that the very first Wuhan strain was more severe, but spread less easily (and thus was possible to contain until it was wiped out).

He thinks 3 million Vaccinated
is good?

My Own view : But there is a not enough Vaccine
to go around the whole of the UK.

Whitty is saying Hospitals are full.
More Deaths, to rise next week.

All travel corridors closed
The announcement we were waiting for and
perhaps a more significant one than anticipated.
The PM says anyone arriving in the UK must have
had a negative COVID test result within 72 hours
to be granted entry, from 4am on Monday.]

He didn't say there wasn't enough vaccine to go round.

LBC's Ben Kentish asks why the government has not
provided details on the supply of vaccine, given
its promise of transparency.
He also asks Professor Whitty
if he still believes things will be back to normal by Easter.]

I will Answer that
Supply is Limited.

There isn't now but they are manufacturing it all the time so there will be by the time it gets to vaccinating the general populous once all the vulnerable groups have been done. That's my view

The oxford vaccine can be manufactured very quickly. The others are a bit more involved. The 12 week window is there to allow for supply of vaccines. Also, the government cant control the speed of the manufacturers plants, and so far they are doing a pretty good job arranging for vaccinations which is no small task

of Vaccines that are ready for use.

Nothing wrong with that.

Johnson can tell us.

The Best move From the Briefing
is all travel corridors closed from 4AM Monday

[All travel corridors will close from Monday,
meaning everyone arriving in the UK will have to self-isolate.
The tighter border restrictions announced
by Boris Johnson are aimed at protecting
the progress made with the rollout of vaccines
in the face of new coronavirus variants being found around the world.]
