[Coronavirus: EU anger over reduced Pfizer vaccine deliveries

Several EU countries are receiving significantly
fewer doses of the Pfizer coronavirus vaccine
than expected, after the US firm slowed shipments.
Six nations called the situation "unacceptable" and
warned it "decreases the credibility of the
vaccination process".
Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Lithuania, Latvia
and Estonia urged the EU to apply pressure on Pfizer-BioNTech.
Pfizer said the reduced deliveries are a temporary issue.]

I find it ****ing hilarious tbh, how many I have seen kicking off about countries closing their doors to us..who were screaming for every country to shut their doors to china at the start. Why are we different, if we have bred some superspreading variant? (as an aside, it also makes me question how long we should treat covid patients, if it is as claimed, that this mutation was bred from a person who was treated for months and months)

I mean, given the 'new' version has been about since September, its already in all countries now in reality so it seems pointless, but I fail to see how we should be treat any differently to any other country? If its fine to deny entry to china, its fine for places to do to us, surely?

there is next to no travel between countries at the moment anyway, so it's just not worth worrying about. Also, with a lockdown any new virus coming into the country has basically nowhere to go

I assume you mean the South African Variant?

But now we have the Worse Brazil Variant
which has 2 versions.

Younger Patients are getting that
staying longer in Hospital.

Interesting to note we are still seeing a daily number of ventilated patients is still 10% of daily hospitals admissions ..

Guess that kinda shows the newish UK variant isn’t any more dangerous just far more contagious/transmissible ?

ITV1HD News & Ch4HDnews (on now)
show all Live Football matches still
hugging after a goal.
It gives out the wrong message
The teams claim they have 2 tests a week
Lucky them.

And in Guernsey
they can all get close in the pub, no mask needed
as they have No Covid
