Overall tho I thought it was quite a good season considering how long it’s been since I watched Idol. There was a lot of talent this year and I actually quite enjoyed the performances at home since it was quite different to what we normally see on these type of shows. It’s convinced me to watch next season .
bit more back to basics feeling, i think you're meaning that


i mean with studio liveshows aspect you can build around a song, performance wise with graphics/staging


same what The Voice US now has done also same home performances

Yh it was quite nicer how we got to get a deeper glimpse of the contestants home life and yes it did feel more back to basics. Also, considering the situation with Corona and the limitations it put on the show, I still felt that they managed to make it entertaining and enjoyable to watch so hats off to them
