I challenge you to find a series of Big Brother which manages to sustain them throughout the whole run.

Yes BB9 will be a Hit.

It is just the Star stirring it.
Todays paper had NO Big Brother Hijack in it,
only a story about Charley .

I think the Star has fallen out with Endemol.

Thats an unfair question. Different Big Brothers have different key twists and different lenghts. But in general , yes , ratings dipped in the middle and picked up towards the end.

I equally challenge you to find a series that had its ratings drop each week in a row. Thats not just 'sustained ratings' , its a sinking ship.

You've just answered your own question. As each week goes by, each series generally has dipped until the final weeks. But none of this is relavent. The original argument is that these are bad figures for E4, and they aren't. Theres no point in continuing arguing because we are just going around in circles and quite frankly I can't be bothered anymore so its better just to agree to disagree.

I dont see how the ratings for E4 are seen as good if they are falling each week. Simple logic. It just blatantly shows interest dipping in the programme. And its not acceptable 'just because' other series were like that too. Thats like saying its okay for an impoverished country to starve because 'thats just the way it is' over their.

Does Big Brother have to lose ratings week after week? Why accept that as the norm? Make a better show , and that wont happen.

Still , we have indeed reached a stalemate here. My concept of good ratings obviously differs form yours , so yeah , lets end the circle .
