It's honestly scary how easily people can be made to ignore facts, to truly believe that Trump was robbed, that it wasn't Trumpers who rioted, that basically anything they don't like just didn't happen. I think it just shows the power of confirmation bias, really. I'd imagine it's very rare for people to be converted to "Q thinking" if they didn't already
want that narrative to be true. You don't see much "God I've always hated Trump, but hey, you can't deny these FACTS!" ... it's only people who were already leaning that way, and now need justifications to latch onto, or a glimmer of hope that their "dream" hasn't come to an end and it's secretly all part of the plan.
It's not restricted to just Trump/Q stuff of course, there's a similar pattern in most divisive topics these days... a real determination to pick a path and then stick to that path
no matter what.
