Default Winner to be TV agony uncle

BIG BROTHER 4 winner Cameron Stout is to present a new teenTV show.

The self-confessed virgin will host an agony-aunt style programme called Teen Commandments.

The show will focus on teenage problems such as falling in love, under-age drinking and arguments with parents.

Bible-basher Cameron will help the youngsters deal with their problems and give advice to viewers.

The 33-year-old, dubbed Scotland's most eligible bachelor, will travel across the country this summer and interview teenagers at events such as Live and Loud and T In The Park.

Filming for the show, which will be aired onBBC1 Scotland in November, will start this weekend.

Cameron, who does not believe in sex before marriage, told the Record: 'I'm so excited about this. You bet I am. It will be like a big summer holiday travelling about, camping outdoors and going to big events.

'I will be based in Glasgow, but we will start filming in Perth on Saturday and the next weekend we will be at Live and Loud.'

The Orkney fish trader confessed he has known about his role on the show, which will be 'for teenagers, about teenagers', for several months.

He said: 'Oh heavens, I've known about this for a long time.

'When you're working on a programme for proper TV channels, it is a big jump from the early stages to the development stage of the show.

'It will be quite a role for me as I'll be presenting.'

The shy Orcadian, who won £70,000 when he triumphed in Big Brother last year, also revealed he was booked up for the rest of the year.

He said: 'This will be great fun. As soon as it's finished, I will be back at Radio Scotland doing some presenting.

'Then I am doing a musical in September, then the panto.

'I'm really looking forward to it.'

Unless Cameron has changed completely, what life experience has he had to be an agony uncle to teenagers? To me he is completely out of touch. But good luck to him for managing to stretch out his 15 minutes of fame, albeit on Scottish tv.

I would like to think that I have plenty of life experience BusyBee, maybe not as much as others, but plenty all the same.

Anyway, the point I wanted to make was this - I wasn't intended to be a agony uncle in the sense that agony aunts/uncles give solutions or offer advice. The purpose of the series was to allow teenagers to speak about what they see as issues surrounding them and their lives without input from parents, teachers, social workers etc - just an open platform for young people to express their views and concerns. I think it worked very well, and the teenagers who were interviewed expressed opinions on many areas of concern to them in a way that would surprise many parents, teachers etc. who don't value teenage opinion nearly enough.

Good question. Hmmm. If I had to pick one of those two I think it would be Catchphrase because I used to like it more than Family Fortunes. LOL, can you imagine!

It's not bad on the whole. There are downsides of course, but they're few and far between. Or have been so far for me anyway - I know there are some housemates who've had different experiences.
