Yes, same for me. I was fine after the vaccine, but very tired the next day.
Thankfully I had three days to recover.

[Covid: Italy 'blocks' AstraZeneca vaccine
shipment to Australia

The Italian government has blocked the export of
an Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine shipment to Australia.
The decision affects 250,000 doses of the
vaccine produced at an AstraZeneca facility in Italy.
Italy is the first EU country to use the bloc's new
regulations allowing exports to be stopped
if the company providing the vaccines has
failed to meet its obligations to the EU.
The move has been backed by the
European Commission, reports say.

AstraZeneca is on track to provide only 40%
of the agreed supply to member states
in the first three months of the year.
It has cited production problems for the shortfall.
In January, then Italian Prime Minister
Giuseppe Conte described delays in vaccine supplies
by both AstraZeneca and Pfizer as "unacceptable" and
accused the companies of violating their contracts.

The EU has been widely criticised for the slow pace
of its vaccination programme.]

[Covid-19: Another new variant
added to UK watch list
Scientists have identified 16 cases
of another new variant of coronavirus in the UK.
Public Health England has designated it
as a 'variant under investigation' (VUI),
meaning it is on their watch list,

but not one they are immediately
concerned about.

It has a mutation in common with the
South Africa and Brazil variants.
That change, E484K, may help the
virus evade some immunity from
vaccination or prior infection,
experts believe.

The cases were first identified on
15 February by the UK's variant surveillance system.
Experts suspect it originated in the UK.

All 16 individuals who tested positive,
and their contacts, have been traced
and advised to isolate.]

Yes but a Cyprus Hotel Chief
(just on Radio 4)
said all will need a Covid test before travelling.
And they only need to know you have had 2 Vaccinations.
Show your Card.

They do not need a UK Government System

This is very clever of Cyprus
getting well ahead
of Spain.

The article you posted said a negative test was not required

So test yes or no? I think tests will still be necessary

Yes that's due to a Live AM Phone call on Radio 4, today
with a Hotel Chief.

Every EU or other nation
is going to demand Covid tests before flights

It will be normal.

[Mr Calder said it was possible Cyprus would reflect its
travel rules from last summer when visitors were able to get a test
three days before their flight and noted that under-12s are excluded
from the current travel restrictions.]

[The anal swabs method “can increase the detection rate of infected people”
as traces of the virus linger longer in the anus than in the respiratory tract,
Li Tongzeng, a senior doctor from Beijing’s Youan hospital, told CCTV.]

[China has begun using anal swabs to test
those it considers to be at high risk
of contracting Covid-19, state TV has reported.

Officials took anal swabs from residents of
neighbourhoods with confirmed Covid-19 cases
in Beijing last week, according to the state
broadcaster CCTV, while those in designated
quarantine facilities have also had the tests.

Small, localised outbreaks in recent weeks
have resulted in multiple cities in northern China
being sealed off from the rest of the country
and prompted mass testing campaigns,
which had mostly been conducted
using throat and nose swabs.]
