But if your mind is already made up that they're only apologising to you for their own benifit, then what I said makes sense. What's the point of apologising to somebody who is not going to accept it?

If you don't apologise, you're bad, if you do apologise, you're only doing it to save your own skin, which means, youre bad. It's a lose, lose situation.
