I’ve listened through once and thought it was brilliant so can’t wait to listen more in-depth.

This is a much more “folky” album than the sort of “Laurel Canyon” vibe of NFR but I’m loving the vibe. It’s good that it’s different in feel.

I started listening to it this morning (I'm a good boy I have waited until today ) and what I listened to so far is very very good. Love the vibe, the folk aspect to it and the general feel to it.

Listened twice now - I adore it.

Can’t believe she’s done it again. I don’t think it tops NFR for me yet (nor do I expect it to as that was just a masterpiece to me) but CTOTCC is up there.

To have two consecutive critically acclaimed, exemplary albums at this stage in her career is a feat not achieved by many. Bravo Lana!

I'm adoring it more too especially White Dress which i wasn't sure on at first but i love it now

I'm also the same with NFR, that's going to be hard to top (still gutted NFR didn't win a grammy, i do love Billie and her album but NFR deserved)

...I completely absorbed and lost in it atm......this morning is a Dance Till We Die morning...I’ll devote a song each day, I think...or a day to each song...she’s the Queen of lyrics and emotion...she’s like the most beautifully reflective, thought provoking Edward Hopper painting in a song...and with lockdown etc, it’s the vibe that we all feel so much atm...perfection.....

It's not as instant as NFR, but it's definitely growing on me, I like that she's experimenting with her sound a bit.

I'm not surprised, COTCC felt very brief for a Lana album so I assumed there would be a Paradise situation or another album on the horizon. Hopefully she can keep the quality up.

I felt this was instant tbh but not White Dress which took two listens for me to adore it.

Speaking of White Dress apparently she wanted to do something like that for BTD but was afraid she wouldn't be taken seriously. I don't really get the hate for White Dress tbh
