I'll make sure to get some tomorrow now. Thank you for highlighting this wonderful company!

One of the few companies with an actual ethical practice and have done since their inception. The amount of work they've done for environmental causes alone eclipses the competition, and they were ahead of the curve when it came to fairtrade, organic product sourcing.

I'm sure some will see this issue as divisive (whilst also whinging about cancel culture in other topics) but the fact is the policing system in America is failing on all levels. Their brutality and training isn't lowering crime rates, and never has done, and you can ignore the racial profiling and trigger-fingers, or point to outdated gun laws all you want, but a large majority of people want reform in some way, and if a private business wants it too then... sure, boycott them if you want. Not sure it'll have any impact on their sales when they're the biggest and best 'premium' brand going. (Haagen Dasz SUCKS and ALWAYS sucked)

Last year the idiot company tweeted

". ‘Hey @PritiPatel we think the real crisis is our lack of humanity for people fleeing war, climate change and torture. We pulled together a thread for you,' it posted on Twitter. The thread consisted of a couple of points nicked from the far left failing Guardian, Huffpost and migration activists.

Also they are at odds with the actual black community. According to Gallup, while black Americans of course want better policing, 81 per cent still want police to spend the same amount of time or more time in their area.

...so who are those who abhor cancel culture actually cancelling then...is it Ben and Jerry’s and their company ethics or is it Unilever... because Unilever would require an awful lot of cancelling and ‘do not buy’ stuff going forward...with 400 company brands to reconsider and cancel...Walls, Domestos, Dove, Lifebuoy, Persil, Pears...Signal toothpaste, as well as other popular brands of toothpaste...Sunsilk, Surf, Vaseline, Tresemme products, Knorr, Lipton and other popular U.K. tea brands....just a few of the 400 brands they own and each brand with their own individual company ethics, which they’re all entitled to have, all companies do ....and Unilever are also providing many, many U.K. jobs....

...so to be fair and even and consistent, if it’s Unilever that is not to be bought from anymore and they're in the cancelling range now...there are numerous products that need to leave our homes right now, I imagine with a complete change to our shopping choices...

You realise that part of "defund the police" is about changing police tactics, not just "doing away with police", right? It's about refocussing policework on dialogue and community policing instead of SWAT gear and automatic weapons (which are expensive).

If you look on the backs of some basic household products, it turns out Unilever owns pretty much everything .

That is just the reality of consumer culture LT you can't blame the company, we are all a part of it, trying to make it separate to the general public is foolish, if it did not sell they would not do it, we are all part of it .

Wise feller told me that.
