6 months more is too much yes but no need to relax measures on April 28th either

my nation = stupidity all over here in our RIVM and parliament

if i had power

i'd close schools, but open terraces (since that would keep people away from parks or at least too many people from parks)

its almost like those morons here are trying to keep anti-masker crowd happy with relaxing of some measures while it isn't the time for it

the 538 kings day party is irrelevant, 10.000 people without room to socially distance, ok outdoors but still not enough room for 1.5 metres distancing

other test events don't deserve criticism as overall infection rate is minimum with those, lesser people as volunteers is better, somewhat between 2.000 and 4.000 is decent for those tests

Literally the deaths are never going to go to zero, someone will always be dying with something 28 days after a positive test

i think when you take the deaths across the uk as a whole and they are under 100 then the vaccine is doing its job. Bear in mind that not all the vulnerable took up the option of a vaccine for whatever reason, so there are still people at risk and always will be

Yeah I don't know how helpful the percentage is at such low numbers because literally a difference of 1 or 2 looks like a significant percentage when it isn't. Hospitalisations and ICU still looking encouraging. I'm on the fence about new cases - it's not an insignificant rise at 9% (a rise of over 150) but it could be down to things like the number of tests actually being done etc.

It's also of course not an issue if it doesn't translate into red figures for the bottom two - and if it does stay "red" while the other two stay "green" or stable, that would strongly suggest that the vaccines are doing their job of eliminating severe illness.

i really don't know why i stress over this pandemic, since it 0% affects my own life

also i apologize for not knowing everything, but one thing is kinda for sure my nation's third wave is almost similar horrible as the second wave was in UK

vaccine rollout seems to be making pace now here so that might be good for numbers to come, 4.5 out of 17 million is not bad i guess, and we cannot force everyone to be vaccinated, but if we can get 7 or 8 million of our population the jab, and rest of population mostly through negative tests since i still believe in the testings quality when done officially, properly (not the self test since i have not much faith in those, more chance of faking that i am of opinion)

Whether or not you agree with him or like him, referring to a recovered addict as "you Junkie" is really not appropriate arista
