Did you guys spot this...

Spoiler:

The post-it note stuck next to Tommy Hunter’s mugshot on the wall stated that Jo is both his daughter AND his niece.

Meaning that Jo is a product of incest. Her parents were siblings.

Rewatched the episode and realised I completely missed the part about Tommy Hunter’s son/Jo’s brother being one of the five who were part of the race attack (Lawrence) and were ordered to kill Vella.

So Jo is in charge of an investigation into a murder ordered by her Dad-Uncle and partly committed by her brother. Jesus.

Her dad/uncle can't have ordered Vella's murder, he died in series 2.

Unless you mean the Lawrence murder, which James Nesbitt was in charge of?

But, yeah, there's SO MUCH detail packed into the episode they always need a rewatch to take it all in.
