Hopefully you should get a text notification about booking an appointment at your nearest health centre, that's what happened with me.

If not then maybe try asking your GP ? .

I think the likelihood if you didn't have any rare side affects after the first one, having any after the second must be quite low?

the local gp hubs are pretty useless, so the best thing to do is book at a vaccination centre if there is one within travel distance.

It may be booked up initially, but the rate they are going at, it doesn't take long to clear any backlog, so keep trying would me my advice

You could wait for your gp to call you, but it might take longer.
Booking online is so much faster.

Yes, online is faster.
The GPs take ages to call you.

I think I heard on the radio that Ireland are offering vaccines to anyone over 18 whilst Germany are preparing to offer vaccines to all over 11 years old ..

i don't think 49% against removing restrictions vs 34% in favour of removing restrictions is a split poll. It's a clear indication that people want restrictions to remain

Yes, I think we need the restrictions until we finish the vaccination programme.

Dirty AZ. They tried to put me in the Pfizer queue as I'm just a young thing still, took them forever to understand that I was there for my 2nd dose so it had to be AZ.

Has any one put up the story of the radio presenter dying of a blot clot after having the az vaccine.

I’ve recently had my second dose of az.

No but fatalities have fallen as people are aware of what to look out for so they get treatment

Apparently there’s no increased risk with the second dose if you had no issues with the first dose...

I got the 2nd dose yesterday, thus far I’ve had fewer side effects at with 2nd dose than first, my arm is a bit dead and I’m a bit tired. But after the first I was pretty ****ing rough with feeling dizzy/out of it/bad headaches.

I’m off tomorrow for bank holiday anyway so an extra day to lounge around.

at my 2nd jab, they seemed to ask a lot more questions

The one that tickled me was "do you consent to having the vaccine?" I answered, why do you think i am here?
