I'm just at the point where I think anyone who votes Tory is just a spineless coward desperate to please their overlord. To look at this story and screech 'grass' at the person potentially exposing several major scandals is truly pathetic.

This country is full of weak willed morons that are all too happy to let corruption run riot as long as it's their 'side' doing it.

Same applies to Labour though ...

Politicians are all spineless , self serving and corrupt ... from what I can see

I’ve recently watched the Domina series set in Ancient Rome around 30 AD ... all about the power struggles of the senate .. the corruption , greed , debauchery
and back stabbings

Just like parliament today basically

It must be exhausting thinking that of the majority of the public all the time?? I prefer to have a more positive outlook on life and people

He didn't say majority of the public.
He said those who voted Con.

Which was a minority of the public.
Around 43% in 2019.
Around 36% in the current council elections.

That makes well over the majority of the voting public even not supporting the Cons.
With even in 2019, 57% rejecting the Con stance.

Under PR this lot may not even have been leading a government never mind sitting with an overinflated unrepresentative 80 overall majority

You can choose to be deluded, I'm happy enough living in reality.

Labour is irrelevant, they'll never know power again because they are incompetent flops. I have no time for 'well look at this irrelevant party that's not in control' or 'all politicians are the same and so I accept things as they are.' Both are bull**** points that defend the status quo, and I have no patience for it.

I don't accept incompetence and corruption from people who should be competent and above corruption, regardless of who they are. I supported the Lib Dems until they decided to suck on David Cameron's arsehole and now they're all dead to me, I supported Labour until they showed themselves to be highly incompetent and so they no longer have my support. When a party I vote for fails to do as they should, they no longer have my support. This country would be better if more people treated politics as I do rather than pretending that it's like the ****ing premier league and be loyal to parties when it should be the other way around.

But no, we are a nation of fools that wouldn't know critical thinking if it shat on our breakfasts. We only know to support the tories no matter what.

Not in my view.
Once this pandemic is over or where things much safer.

I'm selling up in England and clearing off with my Mum to her home in the Republic of Ireland.
A plan I had a couple of years ago.
I see no redeeming qualities in England or from this deceitful lying dangerous government.

I'll put with multi thousands of others all we know for sure to the eventually held, thrown into the long grass public inquiry.
After that I see nothing at all to make me want to stay in the Nation England has particularly sunk to be.
A minority of heartless hardliners ruling the decent majority.
No, not for me that.

And are we OK with this? Basically things were corrupt 2000yrs ago and it must be ever thus?

What happened to civilisation, progression, democracy, justice? All luxuries we can no longer afford?
